Student advisory members are between the ages of 16-22 and are currently enrolled in high school, including transition programs. Student members meet monthly to contribute their perspectives from personal experiences in education, work and/or community involvement.

In all that we do, we aim to center the voices of people with visual impairment to inform our work. Our adult advisory board members meet monthly to share their perspectives from their personal and professional experiences to support advocacy, inclusion, accessibility, and the effectiveness of activities, resources, and supports developed and implemented through the EMPOWERing Youth with Visual Impairment project.
